The University of Montana baseball club is led by second year skipper Ryan Sharkey, third year assistant Derek Hubbard, and new to the staff in 2011 is Kyle Amundson.

Coach Sharkey, a Missoula native who played his college baseball in New Mexico until landing back in Missoula in 2008. Sharkey has been instrumental in the transformation of Montana Baseball, and looks to continue build the progarm day by day. His coaching attributes key around the pitching staff and the outfielders.

 

Coach Hubbard, of Seattle Washington graduated from the University of Montana in 2009 after completing a 4 year stint in the pitching rotation for the Griz. Derek was a stand-out pitcher during his time as a player, and his knowledge of the game as well as his ability to work with the pitching staff has kept him involved with the program for over 7 years.

Coach Amudson is in his first year on the Grizzly coaching staff. He brings an offensive mind to the staff as well his five star infielding contributions. Kyle also is the clubs strength and conditioning coach in the off-season.
